FREQUENT QUESTIONS must read . must read . must read You can find all of our frequently asked questions here all answered for you to read.
1) How do I get into the Digital World?
One may enter the Digital World through the access of a DigiGate which is a portal linked between the Human World and the Digital World. In order to gain access to one, one must first purchase and install the DigiGate application for a D-Touch which can be found in the shop.
2) How do we Digivolve our Digimon?
Digimon owned by tamers can digivolve through the usage of DigiTags which can be found all across the Digital World. There are currently two different types of DigiTags being produced in the Digital World: real tags produced by the Digital World to help tamers, and those artificially manufactured by Pandora. The ones crafted by Pandora are over abundant and easy to come across, while those made by the Digital World are rare and hard to come by. Pandora DigiTags are only good for one usage and allow for temporary digivolution while actual DigiTags can be used to permanently digivolve a tamer’s digimon.
3) Do we still have to purchase a DigiTag to permanently Digivolve our digimon to Rookie?
NO YOU DO NOT! We’re quite lenient on how fast one can get their actual partner. In order for your digimon to permanently digivolve into a rookie level, all you have to do is reach five posts and then you can either have your digimon digivolve to a rookie off screen or in a thread.
4) Does Pandora know about DigiDestined?
Pandora does know about the existence of the DigiDestined; however, they do not know who they are. There are two ways for Pandora to find out that you’re a DigiDestined – tell them, or show off your D-Touch. (Pandora D-Touches are registered)
5) How does Pandora get their digimon?
At first Pandora stole DigiEggs from the Digital World, but years of experimenting and moving into the Digital World has done wonders for them. They now have a base in the Digital World where they breed their own digimon. They do, however, still steal DigiEggs to gain new data/dna.
6) You keep mentioning a D-Touch, wiggle! What is a D-Touch?
Well, a D-Touch is essentially a touch screen digivice with more features than its predecessors. The D-Touch functions similarly to a touch phone in the idea that most of its features involve special applications to get things done. These applications are extremely useful and can range from networking to even using it as a phone.
7) What’s the difference between a Pandora issued D-Touch and a Regular D-Touch?
There are subtle differences between a Pandora issued D-Touch and a Regular D-Touch. Unlike Regular D-Touches, Pandora issued D-Touches are registered to the company so they can keep track of them. A Pandora issued D-Touch also has applications that can be used to allow a Tamer to manipulate and control their digimon by altering their mindset and personality.
8) Are you including crests?
For the intent of keeping this RP simple and easy to follow, we are not including crests. We might add them later on, but that’s only if we progress the story to a point where we’ll actually need them.
9) Can I edit my Digivolution line?
You may edit your DigiLine as many times as you want. Please note that if you do edit it, be sure to post the changed line in the CHANGES AND EDITS BOARD. Once you have done so, go ahead and post in the notification thread again and we’ll go ahead and make the changes for you.
10) What if one of the reference site allows for a digivolution that the main reference site doesn't include it?
That's fine! As long as you post the other reference site in your DigiLine, we will accept it! We only went with wikimon because it can load faster than certain sites.
11) There's a digimon with an X-Antibody in my optional Digivolution line in a reference site. Can I choose it to be part of my line?
No you cannot. In order to choose a digimon with the X-Antibody, your digimon would have to be a natural carrier of the antibody itself. You can check here or here to see if your digimon has the X-Antibody. Although you cannot choose to digivolve into an X-Antibody digimon except through the shop you can, however, choose a natural carrier digimon to be a part of your digivolution line.
12) Can we use the 2006 version of digimon?
If you managed to get yourself an Agumon, Falcomon, or Kudamon and want to use the 2006 version, you can use that one instead of the regular one. They're essentially the same and do not count as a separate digivolution.
