This was. Not good at all!
"*huff* *huff* Nami!!"
In the crowd, one boy desperately searched for someone close to him. How did be manage to lose her here, of all places? There were way too many people here, there was no way he could find his partner just by crying out her name while running around, but there was nothing else he could do. He was careless, falling asleep like that in the train and missing Nami's curiosity working against him, even though he told her not to leave his side exactly because of that. Now she was gone, off to play somewhere on her own and if he couldn't find her... This was most definitely not good. In frustration, nothing was left for Kaiki but to keep on searching.
"Nami!! Where are you!!?"
Through a different station, also one that wasn't really destined at first, a small Digimon found herself lost only after her distraction disappeared from sight. A little butterfly that found its way in the train remained for a small duration of time before leaving once more, at that point the little Lunamon completely subdued to it, innocently chasing the animal out of the train -- away from her tamer -- and out of the station. Once it took flight up to the skies and the Lunamon found it impossible to jump as high as the bug was, she looked around to notice how she was alone. It wasn't so bad, Lunamon by nature were pretty lonely creatures, and yet the image of Kaiki - her partner - running around in search for her or even worse -- just without her, was engraved in her mind.
"K-sama~! Where are you-desuka~?"
She cried out once, twice, five times, as she trotted around the station in search for a wolf-eared boy, but couldn't find him. Was it possible that he went on to the zoo without her? Nami's face dropped to the floor as she slowly made her way around in search for someone who wouldn't mind helping her. There had to be someone that didn't see her as a tool for Pandora battles, and besides that -- she had no D-Tamer with her to boast so she couldn't be controlled.
"Pickles. Where did you run off to, K-sama... If we don't hurry we won't make it in time while the zoo's still open-desu."
For a lonely Digimon, she was pretty calm, albeit clearly sad.

Since Kafka had digivolved, the digimon had found quite a few things that were easier now that he had limbs -- and opposable thumbs, especially. Berach taught him to play videogames, and even though he wasn't all that great at them, he enjoyed it. He also learned to drive, which Berach was mostly sure was illegal for digimon (but too lazy to look up the legislature). So, just in case, Berach had gotten him some "human" clothes to wear.
They fit him awkwardly and Kafka wasn't too fond of them, especially when they kept his tail all cramped up. There were certainly no shoes to fit his large, clawed feet, so he went without. ... And when Berach asked him, so kindly, to go and get groceries, Kafka was more than happy to run the errands.
(It would be some number of months before he realized Berach was using him to indulge his laziness.)
And that was how he found himself, dressed in too-large clothes and carrying a handful of plastic bags filled with food, staring up at the multitude of signs announcing incoming and outcoming trains, trying to remember which he was supposed to take. Figuring he'd found the correct line, he hurried off towards the listed platform.
The bags rustled and bounced awkwardly against his thigh -- he hoped they didn't rip open like the last time; he hated seeing Ber upset -- and, caught up in his thoughts, he ran smack into the tiny Lunamon wandering the platform.
He fell flat backwards, sitting on his tail as he dropped and yelping out in pain. ( Hey! That hurt, what are you just standin' around for?! ) He scrambled to his feet, attempting to hide the tears drawn to his eyes, and gathered up his bags. ( Stupid, ) he grumbled, for good measure.
