Friends
Ran has a long past, having once been a Digidestined when she was 10 (roughly fifteen years ago at this point), she might still keep in touch with the people she knew then. She also is a native to Tokyo so she might still have friends from her days in high school.
Co-Workers
Ran works at a Mermaid Bar called Seashell Heel , which is a bar where women entertain customers by swimming or lounging in tanks of water dressed as mermaids, usually topless. Sound like a fun place to work eh? Better be good at holding your breath, or you can serve drinks, which ever.
Rivals
Ran can be quite competitive, this can usually be a fault of hers. She doesn't really enjoy losing, even at board games. If you choose to show her up, she will try and have her revenge, even if she is friendly about it.
Enemies
It's hard to make enemies with her, but being associated with Pandora is the quickest.
Allies
She believes the new generation of Destined children will be able to stop Pandora where she failed. Anyone who detest the actions of Pandora is an ally of hers.
Romance
Ran is happily married to Kohana Fuji, who is up for grabs if anyone wants to play her btw, I am even cool with changing the name. Otherwise I might make her myself when I have more time.
Either way, Ran does enjoy flirting, as that's usually par for the course in her line of work, but she is faithful to her wife.
Family
If you want to be related I wouldn't mind really.

HANA & RAN - Hana always needs money, and is a swimmer (LOVES TO DO IT), so if Ran didn't fully specify that the mermaids went topless then she would sign up for it in a heartbeat. (can we plot that? Because I think it would be hilarious)
Also, since Hana is Pandora, it might cause some issues, but Hana isn't too keen on telling people that she is and might even pretend she's a DigiDestined because she'd want the job so badly.

You tempted me. So, I was thinking, perhaps I could use that~ Kaiki and Ran could be related somehow -- preferably cousins from mother side (for convenient information, Kaiki's mother's name is Fuuko). If they do end up (with you agreeing), they could meet by chance or something; since he has a Pandora D-Tamer, Ran might think him a Pandora guy, but that was a present from his dad. Explanations, socializing, allies/friends/family.
Also. If he witnesses the plot above he might nosebleed and funny stuff could happen. |

Hrrrmmm, that's completely possible. I never really specified Ran's mother's maiden name, so I guess it could be Fuuko as well. Reading your profile, It would be possible that Kaiki and Ran meet at a family function and already kind of know one another, but then meet again and use that slight familiarity to start up a conversation.
