Even though he appears like he'd be the thin, awkward kid, he actually moves with a fluid grace gotten from years of dodging blows and avoiding breaking glass. He's also not very strong, but is beginning to gain some muscle from working all the jobs he does. Katsumi likes to wear his shoulder-length pink hair half-up. He has small, thin scars all over his body, along with some bigger, longer ones across his back. He has a tribal tattoo around his left ankle. As for clothing, he's a jeans and t-shirt guy, but has a favored sleeveless jean vest he'll wear almost anywhere. He prefers subdued colors so he can blend in and not have much notice taken of him. He managed to survive his first five years by himself, but then hs younger brother was born. Suddenly, Katsumi didn't have to just care for himself, he also had to make sure that his brother survived. He threw himself into schoolwork and taking little jobs so that he could earn money or food so they could eat. He got into the best schools he could so he could get better jobs and earn more money. Katsumi made it his goal to save up enough so that his brother could go to college and make something of himself and made that the only thing he lived for. Even so, he dreamed being able to just leave it all and being able to go out exploring the world by himself with no responsibilities to anyone, anywhere. His dream came sort-of true when at the age of 20 he became a DigiDestined, and disappeared from the real world and onto File Island. However, after the first hour he realized that he'd left his brother at the mercy of his parents and without access to any of the money Katsumi had been stashing in a bank account. He grew desperate to find a way back, but it still took him over a year to do it. Extra: He adores his younger brother but is completely bothered by the almost hero-worship that he gets from Haru.
