[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign,top] Seventeen Female Chinese Heterosexual Other | GENERAL INFORMATION NAME; Li Li Mai NICKNAMES; Princess (Gongzhu), or Dancer (Wudao jia) BIRTH DATE; October 4th APPEARANCE APPEARANCE; Looking into the mirror, Li Li always saw a plain-looking girl staring back at her. The teenager is short, standing straight-backed at 5 feet 3 inches tall, slender, and with an average-sized bust for her age. Messy dark brown hair ends just above her shoulders, bangs on occasion attempting to hide her large red-brown eyes framed by long, black lashes - she always felt that her eyes were the prettiest part of her. Her skin is a light tan color, paling during winter (when she stays inside much of the time), and tanning in the summer (when she goes outside much more often). There is a hint of curves to her form, suggestions that as she grows she'll become prettier yet, but Li Li is never satisfied. Normally, she wears little makeup except foundation to hide the blemishes that naturally occur. Stage makeup is a must, however, for performances. She never slouches with the perfect posture of a ballerina, and each step is a dance. Preferably, Li Li wears comfortable, but cutesy clothes, that are easy to move around in and flow with her movements such as flowy tank tops, dance shorts, and boots with a heel (to make her feel taller). She likes flower patterns and the color blue in particular. OTHER INFORMATION The Mais were a relatively large middle-class family in Southern China and Li Li grew up surrounded by various cousins, second cousins, and even third cousins...but only one little sister. Her father was an electrical engineer and her mother a local schoolteacher who taught Japanese and English to high school students. They expected from their eldest daughter nothing but the best - that is, the highest grades in the class, and an eventual 'dream' career of becoming a Surgeon and making the Mais wealthy...and the envy of everybody. She was to marry an equally clever boy with a rich background and produce many grandchildren, but that was in the far future after she had started her successful career. And so Li Li poured all of her energy into school, into what they wanted, for one thing in exchange - dance lessons. Yes, she had a dream of her own, and even if it was never going to happen she still wanted to try. And so the years went by and the pressure deepened, the hours spent at the studio gradually decreasing. Li Li put a smile on her face but a part of her was always miserable. She was sixteen nearly seventeen, a bit old for a digidestined, but the Digital World called. It was instant freedom with a beloved new partner, and friends. She hadn't had time for friends back home! She just missed her little sister, two years younger than her, asking if she'd help her bake something for Ma Ma (Grandmother) or help her with some English homework (Tou...R-A-B-B-I-T, shi?). Unfortunately, the adventure was cut short for Li Li when her partner sacrificed himself to save the team. She still remembered choking out Gomamon's name as he smiled at her, promising he'd be reborn as he was just data again. Li Li grew withdrawn after that, and her new friends sadly requested her to be sent back home as she no longer had a place with them without a partner. Li Li had been gone for two months, and her family had been worried out of their minds. But the teenager saw only a repeat of what had taken place before she had been given her D-Touch and requested to study in Japan where Pandora resided. One month later, here she was in Japan. Three weeks later...and her D-Touch stopped collecting dust. Guess she had a partner again, and a mission. But she didn't want to play the Digital Game anymore. Save the world? Heck no. Was it too much to ask for a little alone time...
