[/div] Through the intense heat's giant fata morgana two dots could be seen on the horizon headings towards the east. The smaller of the two specks was grumbling about females and their silly whims all the while the focus of his discontent was barking right back at him in her unnervingly cool and collected manner that "it builds character."
Blistering winds and pits of lava built character. Wandering aimlessly through the Savannah like it's a walk in the park was a complete and utter waste of time. At first he had hoped to find an opponent worthy of him but he soon inwardly smacked the back of his head when he realized not many were dim witted enough to walk straight into a landscape full of mirages. That's what his tamer told him anywho, he couldn't see what she claimed to. When asked why doesn't she just fix it he wasn't expecting a reply hoping that he be indefinitely in turmoil but nope she threw answer right back at him he didn't expect.
She went on about wanting to experience everything the Digital World had to offer and if that meant taking a few less swings of her water bottle than so be it. She never ceased to shock him which pissed him off more than it amazed him.
The sound of plastic caving in on itself alerted the Gigimon that she was done with her little experiment for now but she just had to vocalize it too didn't she? "My head was getting too cloudy." He couldn't even feign that was going to try and decipher that. It be nice if she just conveyed her thoughts clearly for once instead of all this abstract wording bullshit or better yet took to his lead and shut up altogether. He even be willing to bite Philomel if she poked fun at his naivety of her languages odd weaves and turns. She'd probably just bite him right back though, that or put her more gruesome heels up his ass.

It never c eased to amaze Suichi, not in the least, the many splendors and marvels that the Digital World had to offer. It was so much like his own home planet, Earth, but so different. It was what earth must have looked like in the beginning, back in it’s prime, before mankind started building skyscrapers so tall they threatened to puncture a whole straight into heaven, before the smog was bad that it became necessary for people to actually buy air purifiers in their homes. Earth was slowly turning into one of those nasty decript versions of itself in one of Hiro’s manga books. It was sad that’s what it was.
So it was not only good, but lethargic, for Suichi to explore the digital world. He found such peace walking within the many different areas of the world, that he was sure he was becoming addicted to this place. Still as nice as most of the places here in the Digital World were, he could of done without the 10 mile hike through the gear Savannah. A place so vast it sort of reminded Suichi of the pictures he had seen of the Sahara Desert, back when he was studying geography in the 6th grade. Lucky for him though he came prepared. His best friend Poromon made an excellent hat, and shade cover from the sun, while the two jugs of water he had strapped to both sides of his hips was more than enough for the two of them.
Especially since Poromon seemed to actually enjoy this type of whether. Bless him! The young man thought with a giggle as he continued to walk upwards over a wayward sand dune, for no other reason than to prove to himself that he could. Oh sure stepping around it would have been smarter, but that wasn’t what Suichi was going for. He wanted to prove to himself, perhaps more than he’d like to admit, that he was capable of cutting it out in this place. He was a digi destined after all and with that came great responsibilities. What they were though, he honestly hadn’t a clue. In fact it had been some time since he was made, or became or however the process is done, into a digi destined and really the only responsibility he was given or felt was the one he thrusted upon himself.
That being to stop Pandora’s excavation of the land, it’s capturing of innocent digi eggs, and it’s slow conquering of the land. Granted it was only rumors, rumors spread among the few digi destined he was lucky enough to meet while exploring this awesome place, but rumors always had an odd way of coming true. Or at the very least holding some sprout of truth in them, and truthfully, the idea of mankind overtaking another’s land didn’t seem to far fetch to Suichi at all. If anything it felt utterly predictable! He wasn’t going to let it happen though; he told himself with a sigh, not if he could help it anyways.
Once over the dune, not that hard of a obstacle he told himself, Suichi’s eyes widened in surprised as he saw someone else daring to trek across the dessert land. For a moment he wanted to wave the other person down, to greet them in a friendly manner and ask why they were out here. That moment, iof course, passed once the realization that this was no digi destined. At least not one of the ones he had come to know over the few days. IF she were he’s device would go off like all the others did wouldn’t it? A quick upwards glance towards Poromon revealed to him that the bird digimon agreed mentally with his suspicion. This person had tobe one of those Pandora workers or what ever. She was much to old to just be a kid enjoying the game. Wide eyes shifted into glares of distrust as he approached the person. Any signs of friendship of friendly deamor faded all together as he approached.
“What are you doing here?”

[/div] The gigimon's mouth went crooked as a puffed out air into the arid Savannah. He was disgusted by how many of his brethren chose to be chartered around like so many moronic accessories. He hoped the pink bird evolved while on the human's head and crushed him. "Going for a walk." She tucked her bangs behind her ears the best she could not enjoying one bit the matted feeling the sweat on her brow created.
She reached for her water bottle again only to press it against her forehead instead of putting it to her lips and drinking deeply as her body demanded of her. This was entirely expected of his conservative tamer, what he didn't count on though was her sitting it firmly a top his red head. Damnit he wasn't a table. He stayed perfectly still and if asked if would say if was because of the water possible spilling and not in fact his utter terror of the crazy woman. It didn't take very long at all for his confusion to be sated Philomel reaching to pinch the young man's ear, man he hoped the boy dodged that. It would serve to both irk the woman and entertain him. "You need to get some manners. Now introduce yourself and we'll see about me answering more of your questions."
The Gigimon smirked, he could tolerate her when he wasn't the one on the receiving end of her fury. He eyed the pink bird again though and his smile turned back into a scowl, she could of at least picked a fight with something with legs though. He was already going over stratagies in his mind while Philomel wasn't really interested in a fight at all. She was doing the redhead a kindness after all correcting such ghastly behavior. Never mind that hers was far from pristine.

Sweat clung to Suichi’s brow, whuich made him allt he more glad to have chosen to wear his long red hair upwards in a tight bun, his eyes shaded by his bright fuschia tinted sunglases, as his white, sleeveless shirt clung tightly to his chest, drenched moderately with sweat, while his green eyes continued to stare down the twosome before him. It was obvious they didn’t belong here in the digital world. They weren’t digi destined and they weren’t saviers of this place. All they were, at least to Suichi, were means to an end. Either the end of the digital world, which terrified both Poromon and Suichi, or the end to Pandora! Although granted they were more likely the end to the former and not the latter. Not unless they somehow imparted a great vast amount of knowledge to Suichi about not only Pandora’s general specifics, but it’s secret agenda and how to thwart them all together. Somehow Suichi knew she wasn’t about to tell him anything like that, even if she did know that kind of Intel, which honestly was doubtful, but still maybe she knew a something. Maybe she was the first of a stupid scouting team hunting for more lands that Pandora can claim under their stupid banner!
Witnessing the twosome even closer, Poromon’s eyes widened completely as he flapped his feathered arms so fast it thrusted his body upwards off of Suichi’s head, who was saddened to feel that his make shift hat had decided to depart from it’s resting spot. Still Poromon was a proud creature, much like Suichi was, and didn’t like others thinking he couldn’t pull his own weight. So Suichi didn’t hold it against him when he decided to hover near him. Besides if this woman got ‘physical’ with her own ‘friend’ Poromon knew it would fall on him to defend his partner Suichi no matter what!
Without hesitation, or real acknowledgement that he had even done so, Suichi immediately jumped backwards, placing even more distance between him and this elderly lady, before she could lay a single hand on him. For a moment there he found himself thanking his mother for putting him in all those Kendo practices, they really did teach him the value fo reaction and good reflex timing, even if he hated actually taking those damn classes and stopped after two years. It seemed though they had done their damage in that time, honing his reflexes a bit better than they were, though honestly not by that much. The woman obviously wasn’t reaching out to harm him, just scold him in her own way. Which surprised Suichi for two reasons. The first being that he had rarely ever been scolded by adults, up until now he had played the good student and perfect son to a T, and the second was that he didn’t expect this lady to lay a hand on him. If anything he expected her digimon to try and clobber him. But of course she still didn’t know who or rather what he was.
“My name’s M. I’m a digi destined, and I’m telling you.” He said as he looked to the both of them. It was hard trying to be mad at the digimon partner of this stuck up lady. He wasn’t to blame for any of this. If anything he was a poor bystandard of the damn Pandora group, but it couldn’t be helped. At least not now. “You don’t belong here. This is the digital world not a fun park you can just come into at any time and do what ever you want!” He scolded her, making sure his sun glasses were firmly on his face, obscuring his full face from the woman.

[/div] The boy sure as hell better be talking to Philomel because the Gigimon most certainly did belong here. A tiny bubble of anger in his stomach aside he was smiling like a mad Digimon at the turn of events. One he had dodged. Two he talked down to her. This was going to be good, now if only he could find a nice comfy spot to watch from.
That dune the duo came over looked promising. So he walked off not even concerned with how his tamer would handle herself without his aid. She kept her cool for now, merely trying again for the man's ear, mind this time she was more forceful with her attack and ready to dig her nails in further than she was before.
"You do best to hold your tongue, sharp as it may be it won't save you from everything." She paused to bore a hole into his chest with her eyes before turning that very same leer over to her partner. It screamed 'where the hell are you going?' but she was far too busy being angry at someone else to fully target the red Digimon, yet anyway. In any case her advice was genuinely good-willed.
"Of course if this territory belongs to you I do apologize." It didn't take a sarcastic tone she lacked for one to tell that she was mocking M. Visibly relaxing though she settled back into her own personal space before "What are kids so hyped up on these days." She shook her head to herself more than anyone else before extending her hand towards wrist, this time in a proper friendly greeting as opposed to an assult. "I'm Philomel." Her steadfast stance made it apparent that she was not prepared to leave even without her saying so

Once more she attempted for suichi’s ear, and honestly if it wasn’t for Poromon, who had been waiting for her to do something like that again, this time the bitter looking lady might have grabbed his ears. Instead her hand was swatted away by Poromon, who simply side tackled it (lightly) with enough force to dab the hand away, but not enough to cause any pain what so ever so as to entice the woman into some type of physical confrontation. As it were, Poromon thought to himself, things were barely being held in check. This meeting was one hop skip away from becoming a full blown out brawl, and if he could avoid that he would, at any cost.
However the opposite was true to. If she, or Suichi for that matter. He did tend to have a temper especially when it came to Pandora and their goons. Regardless if either of them started a fight with one another Poromon was ready to not only stand beside his partner and friend, but also protect him with his life if it came down to it. Though honestly Poromon desperately wished it didn’t come down to that. He didn’t trust to much in his own abilities in fighting, after all he hadn’t really been in a fight…ever. So he wasn’t confident in his own skills. How Suichi could believe he was safe with a digimon like him was beyond him, but if Suichi believed in him, he had to believe in himself too right? So far Suichi was about his only friend! He couldn’t let him down! The very thought of letting his red haired friend down stabbed at him like a knife, seeding itself deep in his own heart. No he wasn’t about to let Suichi down!
Not now not ever! He reminded himself, as his face grew strong with both pride and confidence. A confidence that was only strengthened when he saw the crone of a woman’s digimon desert her to go rest at the nearby dune that the two had climbed over. Either he felt that their wasn’t going to be any confrontation of any type, which Poromon hoped as well, or he felt the lady could protect herself on her own, even from a digimon like Poromon. Which sadly zapped all of his confidence away. IF this gigimon didn’t think he was much of threat to stand by his tamer for, then … NO! he mentally told himself. He wasn’t going to give into those dark thoughts that sometimes permeated his mind. He needed to think positive like Suichi was always telling him. He needed to stay confident in himself it was the only way this was going to work. The only way he could be if he was going to be the partner to someone like suichi.
“I’d say it was a pleasure, but truthfully it’s not. I’m guessing your from Pandora or something right? This palce isn’t an amusement park your company shouldn’t be here harvesting digimon and taking land from the digimon. You shouldn’t just be walking around here because you got tired of walking the mall strip!” He replied back hoping his tone matched her own as a smirk crossed his face. “Why are adults always trying to take from others? Seriously you all preach about how stealing is wrong, but you never batt a damn eye to conquering lands do you?”

[/div] It would seem she had stumbled upon yet another self proclaimed noble crusader. "I'm sure you use products with likewise means and ends. It's human nature to conquer and although I admire your mission it's pointless. People will never change." She really was fond of someone who would fight against the rising odds but these odds weren't able to be dropped. They were set in stone as far as she was concerned.
She chose to ignore both his end note and the gutsy pink bird. It took some big ovaries to interrupt her like that. She liked ovaries. Her partner meanwhile sauntered back on over when it seemed that her kill mode had been unfortunately switched back to her zen mode. He fought back a throaty chuckle at the mall bit. He could just picture her dismay at the food courts and waves of dumbasses pouring in and out of the shops.
Really the visual couldn't be more far off of where Philomel would like to place herself. He watched the Poromon with mild interest, so those puny wings actually worked huh? He would have to remember that for later should hell stop freezing over and the woman get back to finishing what she started. It was rare for her to back down in his eyes but than again he hadn't known her for more than a month nor did he comprehend that this wasn't her backing off.
It was her being civil and right now the boy was making it exceedingly difficult to do so. Retracting her hand and letting it rest to her side she would put the cards on the table now "If you intend to try though it might do you some favors to do so without being so hostile. Our Digimon are born to fight, not us." She raised her hand so that he would not stop her mid sentence before continuing "And before you speak without thinking again it's a known fact that one of these Digital Monsters greater purposes is to brawl in order to gain strength."
Gigimon couldn't be more relieved, he hadn't known how she felt about his battling in the future. They were going to demolish the competition in the arena, of that he was quite assured.

“I don’t buy that for a damn minute!” The red haired boy immediately replied to the older woman, his dark green eyes, glaring intently from behind his darkened shades, as his hands gripped themselves tightly into fist, an obvious sign that Suichi was trying to keep the rage in his soul in check. Normally Suichi was a pretty laid back and calm guy, certainly not one to let his emotions, even his anger, get the better of him, but his patient was already low before he had met this lady, and it was rapidly depleting by the second in her presence. Soon he wasn’t sure if he could even keep his anger in control, though his partner, Poromon, secretly hoped he would. HE had seen Suichi upset before, never at him mind you. Suichi never tended to get angry with those he loved, probably because he had a semi secret fear (that all seemed to know around him) about losing those closest to him.
Regardless Poromon had seen Suichi angry in the past with others, it was almost like he became another person. Someone who didn’t rule himself by logic, like Suichi normally did, but by the raw savagery inside him, and as impressive as that was, it was just as scary as well. Although in all fairness, Poromon noted to himself with a sigh, that kind of Suichi, the one fueled by anger, was a rare site to see indeed. Even if this lady did goad him on and piss him off, he was sure Suichi wasn’t going to become totally ruled by his anger. He knew, like Poromon knew, despite how important looking this bag of bones lady was, she was only one of the drones that worked for the big bosses that really caused harm in the digital world. She was just another bystander, probably one who was more involved in the grandscheme of things sure, but a pawn none the less. Somehow that thought calmed Suichi, it cooled his sole like a wet blanket wrapping itself around his flaring will, and calming back down to controllable levels once more.
“My mission isn’t pointless! The point is to stop people like you who think you own everything you set your greedy grubby beaty little eyes on. So to be honest not only does my mission have a point, but it also seems to have an achievable goal!” He remarked the smirk on his lips only growing, as his partner hovered beside him. Happy to see that Suichi was using logic and tact to get at this woman, instead of letting his utter annoyance of her and her kind get to him. IT was good to know that people like her didn’t get to Suichi, well not all the times anyways. Which was something right? The digimon questioned himself, as his eyes quickly darted to the woman’s digimon, making sure it wasn’t trying to do anything sneaky, before returning it back on her once more, his wings still flapping away.
“Our digimon are born to live not fight. However like any creature in this universe they CAN fight to protect themselves if they need to. This isn’t POKEMON lady they aren’t born for our amusement. Hawk here is my friend. He protects me if I need it and I do the same for him. He isn’t some stupid manga creature that is here to serve my every whim and desire. He’s a living, breathing, creature!” Suichi spat back as he gave a side glance to Poromon, who seemed happy with Suichi’s response. SO happy that he didn’t feel the need to go into his own little rant. Besides Suichi had a way with words that he, as of right now, didn’t , and that was fine with him.
“These known fqacts of yours comes from your stupid polls taken at that dumbass of a cooperation you work for. So forgive me if I don’t trust the source of your facts. “ He retorted glaring more profusely at her, as he stood side by side with Poromon, unsuire of how this situation was about to play out. He wasn’t about to make the first move, but at the same time should she cause anything, he wasn’t about to back down, and neither, by the looks of it, did Poromon.

[/div] Simultaneously she swatted at the pink bird and went to slap the young man with full force. "You're just some kid playing hero, spouting out nonsense. Go read a history book and save yourself some embarrassment in the future. The survival of the fittest is universal It's your own hasty foolishness that has you assume that I cannot see that these creatures are alive such as we are." Gigimon was feeling really riled up from all of this. He's been itching for a good scrap lately. So why... why was she hesitating like this? He knew she couldn't be waiting for his approval because she both didn't care for it nor was it a secret how he felt on the subject. He's done a terrible job at hiding it, not that he actually was trying to or anything.
This pair pissed of him enough though to say it anyway "I for one enjoy turning my enemies into specs of data." His smile turned wicked as he began to glow a burning purple "I like to watch all the pretty colors try to scatter!" The now Black Guilmon was dark lanky form hunched over with the hunt alarmingly bright in his yellow irises and than thunk. Philomel had kneed the back of his head hard.
This was it, he was finally going to get back at her for weeks of abuse but he stopped mid swipe at the words that left her blue lips "I treat him as I would any person but there is perks to having a Digimon that obeys. I'm sure even you can appreciate the implications ." He slashed at the earth before standing tall beside her. That was right, he could never disobey her and if she hadn't spoke something programmed deep within himself would have stopped him from ever bringing her harm. Hypocritical Bitch he hoped the young man took her helpful advice the wrong way and punched her in the face.

While Poromon was already ready for any attack from their opponents, Suichi on the other hand was not quite as rweady. He watched with amazement as his partner dodge the attack by maneuvering himself easily in the air to dodge it, then clutched his own stinging face moments after, as he had been dealt a rather stinging slap by the woman before him. If there were any hopes of just being able to talk things out they all seemed to fade with each throbbing of his cheeks. Clutchign the sides of his cheek, Suichi was annoyed, more to himself for letting ti happen, as he glared back at the woman. A part of him wanted to strike her back, but he culdn’t bring himself over his parent’s upbringing. He wasn’t allowed to hit a girl for any reason, and while this crone before him had stopped being a girl many years ago, she still counted. Barely, but barely was enough to goad his personality and morals into preventing himself from punching her square in the face and breaking that obviously fake plastic nose of hers. A small chuckle escaped his lips as he thought about how phoney her nose did look, but it soon faded as he reminded himself about the moment at hand.
The moment in which this tlittle hostile conversation finally took that long dreaded leap, ok well not that long of leap considering how it started off pretty angsty, into becoming a full blown brawl between the two, or maybe four, of them. The thought of his best friend fighting on his behalf did sicken Suichi, to some extent, but he knew that sometimes you didn’t have a choice. Sometimes people, namely him and a few other digidestined, had to fight in what they believed in. Lucky for Suichi, and for Poromon, that the two did in fact believe in what they were fighting for, and had no qualm sticking up for it. Besides that suichi could easily tell that Poromon was pissed by not only the lady attempting to strike him, but for actually hitting Suichi. That was a good friend, he noted to himself, the vicious scowl on his lips (that was aimed at the old biddy in front of him) turned into an approving smile as he realized just how deep their friendship ran now a days. Not to bad for just meeting one another slightly over a week ago.
“History is written by the winners and thus it is tainted from the start. What we read is not what happened and I refuse to sully my mind with unfactual things such as lost and won battles that no longer have any real impact in today. What humanity was back then is not what they are now. Thoguh at the core some humans, like you and your bosses, resist the urge to change and evolve into decent creatures like the rest of us, that doesn’t mean that their isn’t hope. I have something I believe in and I’m not playing at being a hero here lady! The fact that I’m here standing up to you on behalf of those hwo can’t makes me one. “ He retorted immediately forgetting himself in the moment.
Suichi stared down the creature before him. Gigimon was gone replaced by the darkened representation fo the creatures, and perhaps it’s tamer’s soul. This being was dark to it’s core, hence its name, and it wasn’t afraid to hide it. Being in their presence, breathing the same air as them, some how felt toxic to Suichi. He couldn’t stand being in their site for much longer, and yet something inside him compelled him to fight on. If he …they enjoyed destroying so much wsan’t it his duty to stop them. Clutching his own digivice he felt a powerful light engulf Poromon, changing him from within and without.
Before him no longer floated a head with wings, but a powerful hawk type creature with a regal look of both serenity and pride in his looks. A smirk over took Suichi’s lips, as he continued to stare down the woman.
“I’m not going to be bullied into submission lady. So back up or back off!”

[/div] "If you won't see reason than fine. Usually I prefer to fight my own battles but as Black Guilmon seems to be enthused he'll take my place for now." Did he hear right? Did he just get permission to give into his boiling bloods desire? "Alright!" He didn't care how childish it was of him to proclaim his joy in such a cliche manner. He was finally going to show both worlds why they should kiss the ground he stomps on. If they didn't by choice he'd just make them by pushing their smug faces into it.
He even was granting the birdbrain the first shot, some pain would help liven things. That is if the Hawkmon could even produce any. It didn't look all that threatening from where he stood but the dinosaur knew better than to let their obvious size difference go to his head. Arrogant in some ways and in others not, he was just as hypocritical as his tamer. Meanwhile Philomel perched herself up on the now frequented dune with her bottle shoved into the sand next her. "Stand over their fuming or come sit with me, the choice is yours."
This was sport and she assumed that even this annoying brat wouldn't get into it with her over that. If he did she expected him to go lecture every hunter, boxer, wrestler, etc. violent games that what they were doing was evil. She didn't know what to think at this point, really a bystander would probably find his behavior quite malevolent in itself.

Reason she calls it, Suichi thought to himself with a mock expression paiting the outer shades of his face. This woman knew nothing about reason, if she did she wouldn’t have tried to pull his ear twice and slap him in the face. Were he any other guy he would hack decked her clear in that Botox filled face of hers, lucky for her thought Suichi was a good guy and a decent human being, which was more than he could say about her.
The decent and good part, not so much the guy part. This woman seemed pretty testorone filled, plus her big hands and odd boat like feet might just put her in the man category. A chuckle escaped his lips, as he shoved aside his humorous thoughts and focused on the task at hand. He didn’t want his funny thoughts calming him down like they normally did. He not only needed to stay focus but also needed to keep his aggravated levels high. He didn’t want to back up or back down, like he had just mentioned to the lady. He wanted to stand tall and show his own personal commitment for his beliefs and morals!
Hawkmon stood in front of Suichi, making sure he stood as a barrier to his tamer, unwilling to let that dark digimon come anywhere near Suichi. There was something off about this blackguilmon. Something dark and twisted within him that just seemed to exude out from his very core, tainting the very air around him. The sooner Hawkmon got away from him the better, sadly though it didn’t seem like either one of them were going to walk away from this. It seemed this lady could be as stubborn as Suichi himself, which was saying something.
Brute strength wasn’t going to help Hawkmon, he knew this, that guilmon easily had power and size over him, but he certainly didn’t have brains and he certainly didn’t have the advantage Hawkmon had, which was distance and maneuverability. Guilmon was stuck on his one plane to fight while Hawkmon was able to fight in either the land or the sky, although in all seriousness he’d have a greater chance of winning in the air. He knew this, and Suichi knew this, it was obvious he did by the way he kept looking at the digimon then the air above them, and smirking.
Without further hesitation Hawkmon thrusted himself into the air, giving himself a good deal of space between him and Guilmon, while he noted Suichi, his partner, taking a few more steps back. This fight was going to be big, it was going to be quick , and it was going to be sloppy. While Hawkmon couldn’t speak for the digmon below him, he himself was still new to his rookie form. He didn’t exactly know how everything worked yet, if that made any sense. He didn’t want to push himself to hard until he knew just what he was capable of. With barely a thought the hawk took the offensive flying up high then arching his back, spreading his wings, the digimon swooped downwards towards Guilmon, using the descent as a way to garner more speed before leveling himself out just in time to blast the Guilmon with a circular energy that bursted from his beak. The greenish energy sped, at an alarming rate, towards Guilmon threatening to hit him.
“HAWK BEAM!” He belted out in pride as he once more tilted himself backwards and started ascending into the air.

[/div] The black reptile eyes had gone had as the attack was indeed quite painful. Raising his head he roared as he released a purple flame (virus breath) similar to the one which had engulfed him during evolution. He was clever about this no mere brute dispute a certain someone's belief or lack thereof and used the rings as flashing targets to launch his attack straight on through. His attack may have had less range thanks to this but it was mighty potent, anger a very flammable fuel. He braced himself for however many more rings hit him until the Hawkmon was hit or chose to dodge. Really he didn't see any other options for the bird and be genuinely impressed if it proved to be more battle savvy than he had initially given it credit for.
Philomel held her water lazily in her hand swishing the last of its contents from side to side in boredom. She watched the battle through its warped plastic not truly held at breath by it yet. It hadn't any flow yet but she was certain it pick up eventually. She could wait, she could always wait. Turning her makeshift telescope to the young man she smiled softly, for someone who accused this of not being Pokemon he was standing awfully close to the battlefield as a trainer would. If he began to bark out orders she would probably snort-laugh in her funny way.
All in all Digimon battles were generally quick and uninteresting. The Arena was flashy for a reason and that was to make otherwise unspectacular spectacles attention drawing. People didn't go and watch the Animal Channel all hours of the day to watch a cat swipe at the nose of a crocodile.
It got old like all things and likewise to what she was currently watching was only again made intriguing when it became beautiful. It took an artful form for a predator to survive and she wagered her partner would sooner leap onto a gazelles back than nibble on the bush. Birds were keen predators as well though so she sent a little wish into the heavens that the black guilmon's pride wouldn't be his downfall. It would be regardless of loss or defeat courtesy of yours truly.

HAwkmon’s eyes widen in surprise as he saw the digimon’s intellect, insteading of defending himself or dodging his attack, B. Guilmon decided the best defense was an exceptional offense. HE must have had that in mind as he shot his attack straight through HAwkmon’s rings, aimed at him. It was a good thing that Hawkmon was so far off, if that blast of Guilmon’s had caught him in close range it might have done worse damage than it did, but as things were it merely , thanks to some quick maneuvering on Hawkmon’s part, catch him on the brunt of his arm. Granted this caused the young bird to stagger in the air and soar downwards towards the ground. His wing was hurt, it was probably by intention to. Guilmon was thinking more strategically than Hawkmon would have given him credit for. This fight, the young bird thought to himself, just got much harder. Eyes glaring with anger the bird thought about what to do next.
Standing far off to the side, Suichi had to physically restrain himself from jumpiong in the middle of the fight to protect his friend. Not that it would do him any good if he did. He wasn’t a digimon. He wasn’t built to take attacks like that. Hawkmon was, and for the most part he seemed ok, although the playing feel was now more even, as Hawkmon was brought down by the dinosaur’s attack. It seemed that he wasn’t a mindless brute, as Suichi suspected, which only made him worry more about his friend and the woman who sat cozily behind him, enjoying the sight as if it was some kind of weird festivity held in her honor. The very thought of her pissed Suichi off, but he wasn’t about to let her know just how much she seemed to rile him up.
Now that he had lost the element of speed, at least for the time being, HAwkmon had to be more clever than B. Guilmon. He needed to out think him and quick, before his own injuries got worse. With that in mind HAwkmon immediately grabbed at the giant feather protruding from his head band, and looked not at Guilmon, at least not entirely anyways, but at the large mass of sand before him, as a smirk (or what could count as a smirk on a bird’s beak, over took his beak.
However instead of tossing the feather, HAwkmon opened his beak once more sending a spiral of circular energy towards, Not Guilmon, but to the land mass infront of him. Sending torrents of sand upwards, hopefully obscuring, his line of sight as a cloud of heavy sand dust formed around Guilmon. As quick as he could HAwkmon tossed the arrow he had been holding onto earlier aimed at Guilmon, trusting that this had all happened to fast for the dino to really react, and even if he did by some means dodge his attack, the large sand cloud would continue to obscure his sight for some time, lucky for Hawkmon his sense of sight was keener than that of any Dino’s!

[/div] There were certain non-lethal sensations that drove one crazy. Paper cuts, brain freeze, and yes sand in their eyes. His opponent had faked him out which only served to further put the fuming Digimon on a rampage. He was blind for all intensive purposes at the moment so he was like a cornered animal. Cornered animals were know to strike out. Belching out wildly and without any heed to aim many purple spheres of pyro (pyro grenade) exited the sand. One hit close enough to Philomel to singe her boot and others yet may have strayed towards the young man.
The demonic glow of Black Guilmon's eyes could be seen through the sheet of sand even while the reptile himself could not see what could probably see him. The arrow he had smelled coming and took the unwise and berserk acting of trying to catch with his mouth. It. Hurt. Like. Hell. He wasn't going to let go of his prize so easily though, that was until even more sand got into his eyes and he resumed hazardously roaring out the pyro grenades. He wanted to tear into something not burn in it. Right now burning was not enough to satisfy him, he wanted to torture his foe for using such an annoying and tactful slew of attacks.
His tamer meanwhile pursed her lips, those flames could not last forever, really spouting out so many misses like that was quite unconservative of him. This wasn't an official match though so he could lose all he wanted, she didn't care as she wasn't the ego chest puffing sort like her partner appeared to be. So surprisingly she had no plans to reprimand him should he be defeated. That is, as long he didn't almost set her on fire again. Do it once shame on him, do it twice shame on her for not beating him for doing it the first time.
