Once his guard was up Suichi was no slouch. When multiple spheres of energy, created by the blinded Guilmon, went soaring all around him, Suichi made sure to dodge the few that came his way, finding a modicre of safety behind a stray sand dune. IT wasn’t the bravest thing to do for sure, but again what could he do against a digimon’s might. He was just proud to see that Hawkmon had a strategy. One, by the looks of things, that might actually be working on Guilmon. Though Suichi wondered if Guilmon going crazy was part of his plan, or if it was just a side effect of the circumstances. An inevitable eventuality that HAwkmon didn’t quite plan for?
“I see your digimon has wonderful control skills”
Suichi muttered towards the woman, who kind of looked annoyed at the moment. Whether she was annoyed at Suichi’s digimon for his skillful attack, or at her own for losing his cool so entirely he couldn’t say, but somehow he was glad she was annoyed. It served her right! It was her idea anyways to fight like this. If it were up to Suichi he never would have gone into such a confrontation as this one. Still what was done was done, there was no changing that! Turning his focus back towards his friend, Suichi was glad to see that HAwkmon, despite the obvious pain it caused him, took safety in the air. Oh sure there were blast lashing at him from left and right, but at least he wasn’t a singed piece of poultry! That had to count for something right.
Guilmon was blinded, hawkmon thought, this was good! Guilmon was also going on a maddened rampage shooting at everything it could, this was not so good. This was certainily not something he expected, and soaring through the sky, as he was, wasn’t going to keep him safe for to much longer. IT hurt to fly and the longer he stayed in the air the more it was going to hurt, but perching on the ground wasn’t an option, at least not for now. Guilmon was going beserk and that was definitely the bigger of the two threats!
While in the air Hawkcmon continued to strike at the ground below, causing torrents of sand to go flying into the bleak and hot air around them. This wasn’t going to hurt Guilmon, other than maybe stinging his eyes, but it would keep him safe from attacks, at least safer than he would be on the ground, so it was something.

[/div] He had to get out of this blasted impromptu sand storm. That's when he heard it, the sound of the young man's voice. So he ran towards it his claws dragging a trail into the ground behind him. He'd make Hawkmon come to him, one way or another. His growl a mixture between a genuine monster and a teenager as he barred his teeth at the red head. He felt it, before he even came close to closing in on the boy he felt her eyes on him. It was heated but not disproving, yet.
Philomel could almost see the wheels turning in her partner's head, so that's the way he was going to try to play it? This battle lacked grace for all its twists and turns. Putting the luke warm bottle to her head for it was still cooler than the dry air she closed her eyes and fell back into the sand. This was turning into something unattractive. She could almost picture a stray bar stool being thrown the battle zone as absurd as that would it but really that's how distasteful this all was. Should she order Black Guilmon to stop? No, this wasn't her fight, not that it was the boy's other but he should have known better than to not retreat further.
Meanwhile the onyx reptile drooled, god forsaken drooled, it was so unclassy of him that his tamer had to make a mental note to kick his tail side in later. He did have a plan at one point she assumed but it was quickly being lost to raw instinct. Oh well, maybe it would give him better results than putting on a thinking cap had.

Suddenly the air all around began to chill. Something was wrong, for the sun was as bright as ever in Gear Savannah. Everything became silent for just a brief moment until the drumming began. Thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud. The drumming didn’t seem to cease, but became louder, stronger. It wasn’t until the sound subsided for only a hair’s breadth that a loud and mighty roar was let loose. It was the sign of a king’s arrival; however, his call was riddled with pain. The figure stood far from the area and watched the two tamers with its careful eyes. It breathed slowly, yet warmth didn’t affect its cold body. The air was visible around its breath. It was difficult for it to make out the two figures, but it could sense weakness. The large digimon was hungry and relied only on its instincts now. Slowly it strode forward, its palms on the ground as if stalking a prey. Mad Leomon was hungry.
Note: This is the escaped Pandora digimon. HAVE FUN!

Normally Suichi’s focus would have been on either the rampaging digimon, who seemed to lack all sense of control, or it’s rather dubious tamer, who actually seemed to be enjoying the sight of her digimon going wild. Pardon the pun. Or it weould have been on the injured hawkmon, his best friend in the entire world, who seemed to be flying on a bad wing in hopes of avoiding the maddened black Guilmon’s seemingly random spray of attacks all over. In truth he had many things to worry about, including keeping his own person from being harmed by the digimon and or it’s crone of a tamer, but sadly all those things he had to worry about. All the thigns he had been thinking about and planning against in his mind, paled incomparison with the new threat that seemed to dwarf all of his concerns, pushing them almost entirely out of his mind.
Where once there was nothing, suddenly there stood a gigantic beast like digimon with wild dark hair that was blacker than night, eyes as crazed as a wild coyote trying to sever it’s own leg off, and a stench that would have made even the most putrid of gesomon leave in revoltion. Eyes widened in pure terror as a gigantic warped and twisted version of Leomon took center stage catching not only Suichi’s full attention, which was saying something considering Suichi never devoted his full attention to any one thing being a master of multi tasking he preferred to share his focus on several things at once, but of his injured Digimon who had been trailing the skies nearby in hopes of dodging attacks that no longer seemed to either interest him or worry him anymore. Instead what worried, the both of them, was this gigantic digimon that not even HAwkmon could rightfully place.
Taking a step backwards, Sucihi distanced himself even more from the battle field, considering the fact that it now contained a whole new player in it, as he gave an upwards glance towards his companion Hawkmon, who seemed to be surveying the beat. Which thanfully was a good thing. Suichi loved Hawkmon like he was family he didn’t want his friend to risk his life if he didn’t need to, but still something inside him told him that they were going to be in for a fight! Turning towards the crone like woman Suichi gave her a look that meant what are you going to do? Run or fight? Her actions would inturn determine his own!

[/div] Much like the madden leomon, black guilmon was running on instinct only the latter still possessed the ability to feel a twisted sense of pride swell in his gut when he saw the human run. It quickly dispelled though when he realized it was not from him but instead a third Digimon.
It seemed like it was in a bit of a daze yet for all it's indifference towards most of the world it was evident that its kill drive was intense as ever. He couldn't help the weak shudder that trembled his entire form, it was scared of being absorbed by the monster. "That's mad leomon, he's the one we've been looking for." The woman held up her black digivice as she spoke an image of said Digimon slightly levitating off of the screen.
He was about to call her out on her crazy plan when two things happened. One he found his nerve, the moment his lips parted to whine it found it, and secondly and the most relevant to this fight; Philomel's other wrist turned to reveal a temporary digitag. He smirked and suddenly found it overwhelmingly hard not to put her status from bitch to being a less annoying nuisance.
He shook his head, she was a bitch alright and he liked that about her just fine while he was facing down a foe bigger than himself in a multitude of ways. Turning on his heels he braced himself for impact. Impact of death or power, he was ready for either.
The purple glow of his previous evolution became mixed with blood red and black before becoming blindingly white. The flash may have hurt someones eyes but whether or not he had that advantage the dark scaled growlmon went straight for this new enemy.
His strategy hadn't improved much with this new form and may have actually suffered some. At least that's how his tamer could assume as she watched the numbskull rush head first for mad leomon. She noted the blades on his arms were erect and emitting of all things a mint light (plasma blade). His mouth was also open wide brimming with sharp sets of chompers just waiting to sink their teeth into something. It was either that or the dinosaur was shivering and after an overlong stare into his back that he didn't see but certainly felt as she watched his resolve return to normal, she highly doubted he was running on fear anymore.
Fear took brains though and so she relaxed further into the sand very much interested to see where this match of not wits but instincts would go. The young man would involve himself soon enough, probably, but she wasn't going to give the beast anymore reason to look her way than she already had. Tapping her Digivice to a set of notes on their opponent she smirked, she would be safe as long as she didn't suddenly acquire a large sum of data within herself.

The maddened Leomon let loose a low growl as it averted its feral gaze from the girl and began to focus on the boy and his digimon. The lion could smell the scent of fear come solely from the boy which made him the perfect choice for its meal. It prowled low, clawing at the ground slightly as it waited for him to flee. He would taste more satisfactory after a proper hunt. For a moment its ferocity seemed hidden away with an innocent glee; however, it was driven away when the girl had done something to her lizard.
It transformed into something bigger and posed a minor threat to his meal. It decided to fight against him; though it was still significantly slower than he was. Like a cat, the Mad Leomon let loose its pitch black claws, scratching the grass for only a moment before it leaped away from the Black Growlmon's attack. The grass darkened and grew older, immediately decaying. The Mad Leomon huffed as it curiously watched the Growlmon. It was going to challenge a king? The lion stood, revealing its massive height over the Growlmon. It was nothing like how it was hunched over before.
The Mad Leomon retained some data from its former self and pulled its fist back. Energy swelled around its fist as it protruded an evil aura. The energy began to take its shape and a face began to form. It hurled its fist out and launched forth a blast in the shape of a lion's head at the Black Growlmon; the head opened its mouth in preparation of devouring the lizard.

“One we’ve been looking for?” These words repeated themselves in Suichi’s mind twisting and turn around the cogs of his mind, seeping into the deepest depths of his being. Was this the real reason why these two cruel beings were trekking across the Desert? Were they looking or trying to find Mad LEomon? And if so for what purpose? Was he something of great interest to them? Did he hold some kind of special key to one of their sic and twisted experiments? And the only way they could find out what it was was by dissecting it? Or was this creature some kind of sick perversion of theirs? Was it something some mad scientist whipped up in one of his stupid vats at one of their libraries? Had it escaped in an attempt to taste what freedom was?
Were these two sent to track it down? So many questions permeated through Suichi’s mind. The answers to which he would have gladly like to have known. Sadly though something told him this was not question and answer time. Whatever Mad Leomon was to them he was, as of right now, a threat to both the crone and to Suichi, so as much as he would have liked pounding the smug look of self satisfaction from the old ladies’ face, he knew now was not the time. He needed to team up with her and help her bring Mad Leomon down. As strong as that evolutionary form of Guilmon looked, something told Suichi it wasn’t going to be enough.
Suichi’s eyes darted once more upon the fearsome visage of Leomon, he could feel the fear creep through him. IT was alright though, he reminded himself, fear was nothing to be ashamed of. Even the most bravest of men felt fear in the face of danger. No Suichi wasn’t ashamed of his fear at all, it was what he would do when confronted with his fear that bothered him. Every fiber in his being, every bit of his common sense told him to run. To turn around and just high tail it the hell out of there, but that wasn’t the type of guy he was. This creature this mad LEomon was a perversion of a noble and innocent creature who wanted to destroy not only him, but the other tamer couple as well. As much as he despised Pandora’s workers, he couldn’t, he wouldn’t leave them to face this therat on their own. Whether he liked it or not he was involved in this. He only hoped, for Hawkmon’s sake, that he hadn’t gotten himself into something he couldn’t handle.
Normally Suichi would rely on the strength of his mind, the cunningness of his plans to try and win any type of fight, whether it was physical ro mental, but something told him that strategy alone wasn’t going to win this for him. Mad Leomon was to strong, it was to powerful to just use simple tricks to defeat it like Hawkmon had done with B. Guilmon, but Hawk wasn’t on the same level as Leomon. He couldn’t go toe to toe with him in a fight like Guilmon was doing, and to make things worse he was still hurt from the previous battle.
Eyes shifted into slits of anger, as Suichi glared intensly as Mad Leomon, wondering what his friend could do, while in the mean time Hawkmon, who had been circling the skies waiting for its moment to strike, finally seized it’s opportunity when Leomon’s attention focused squarely on Black Guilmon. Now was the time to strike, without any more thought the digimon opened it’s beak and released a green blast of energy aimed for Mad leomon’s eyes.

[/div] Growlmon's darker counterpart immediately went to the ground, per choice, but that didn't mean the damage was zero. His back had been painfully skimmed over by the frightening attack causing the dragon to let out a monstrous howl (howling). It was as if the pupils to his eyes were lost and replaced with only an intense yellow anger. Digging his blades into the sand he pushed off with them and took a nose dive towards the enemy, his mouth ajar ready to sink his pearly whites into its gray-blue flesh. Even his toes were extended for the kill.
Philomel scoffed at this. Perhaps he wasn't ready for her to use the digitag on him. Oh well, it was too late to turn back now and from the look of the bird's actions the whinny brat was going to get in on this too. She liked him a bit more for not running away but still she would continue to return his obvious distaste for her. It be only fair. She tossed her head back and looked at the scenery behind her upside down. She prayed this wouldn't take too long win or lose. The latter did leave her feeling uncomfortable though she couldn't quite pinpoint why since she had her digigate at the ready should anything go array. Perhaps she was becoming attached to the black lizard? Could be but now wasn't the time to analyze that. Standing up she stretched her as if she was about to run a marathon. Hey, better safe than sorry.
Sometimes people expected silly things of her or from her. She would bunch a man square in the jaw twice her height and bulk if they pissed her off. She would not bunch a Digimon that could use her as a toothpick. She had sense or at least enough to pick her battles. Without a doubt though she was still a dominating figure, not quite suicidal but frequently lashing out at those physical stronger than her anyway. Thinking thinking thinking, all these inner-self discovery was boring and well out of place. The the double assault of beams, teeth, and what not all coming at the Mad Leomon like a turent she figured it safe enough to speak again and if not, well, she was going to take her chances wise or not "Red-tail, if you have something to help your partner out, I suggest you use it now." She smirked at the nickname and didn't have to look at the boy to make an educated guess that he was most likely displeased with it.
