Anna wasn't quite sure what she should have done just now, but all she knew, was she missed the train, and now the manager would be upset with her for sure. Not only had this been the second time she had missed the train, but today the conductor had been so fascinated by the fact that she was writing to them instead of speaking, that they had actually held her up, and she missed her train entirely. Huffing, she sat down on a bench not far from where she'd normally get on the train.
Anna worked at a local Pizza hotspot, mainly because just putting Pizza in boxes and writing down addresses wasn't that hard for a mute, so she took pride in showing up every day to do it. But if she missed even one more day of work, she'd be fired for sure. She slid further down on the bench and let out a silent sigh, barley expelling any air at all. Rather annoyed, she doodled pictures of the conductors in silly clown outfits in her notebook.
'If everyone could just accept the fact that I use this notebook, it'd be a lot easier for me to get places.' She thought, coloring in the last of a clown nose with her pen. This was the kind of thing that made her dislike others. It wasn't weird for her to talk as she did, not at all. It was her choice, and she didn't have to say anything she didn't want, right?

Hiro's headphones weren't doing the job they were suppose to be doing, because even with his music playing at full blast he could still hear the sounds of the people around him. Then again what was he expecting? After all he did live in one of the busiest places in Japan, and of course the world. His hands traveled to the inside of his pockets as he walked through the crowded station full of people, his cold grey eyes not even bothering to look at the others who bumped into him.
He didn't really care for them and actually talking to them about the subject wasn't going to do anything but start a fight between him and them. He was sure that once something like that happened he'd end up in jail like he did that one time in grade school, where he snapped on the poor boy who had pushed him too far. A sigh escaped Hiro's lips as he took note that the train he was suppose to be boarding in order to get home had already taken off, and he couldn't do anything but blame himself. He had been so caught up in his own little world he hadn't been paying attention to the time, and had just kept on walking.
Strands of his black hair fell upon his face as he gave the area a look around, he would need to find out when the next train got here. He didn't see any signs close by that would help him actually figure that out, and that really only left him with one option..walk home, or ask one of the people around him. Though he really didn't feel like asking one of the many people moving about because they were going to be an ass about giving him an answer.
He sighed as he began to walk a little further, maybe he could find someone who was sitting down at one of the benches nearby. Sure enough he only needed to go a little bit further and look towards his left to spot a girl with red hair, doodling away at her notebook. She didn't seem to be too busy, and she also looked to be a few years younger than him. Yes she was his best bet in asking for when the next train got here, after all she was surely going to be more friendly than others.
He walked over to her pulling the earphones out of his ear, "Hey I missed my train, you wouldn't happen to know when the next one is going to be stopping here would you? he asked the red head, as he waited for her to answer him Hiro's hands traveled back to the inside of his pants pockets.

Anna hadn't yet been quite done with her doodle, but she held it up for inspection anyway. Maybe the dude on the left needed to be a little portlier, but it wasn't like she was some major artist or anything. Instead she left it alone and began coloring in some hair. Of course, it wasn't all that hard for her to lose herself in her doodles, but she probably should have been looking for some way to get to work. But she was just so upset with the train service, she had put all her effort into working on those people.
She looked up when she heard the voice of a boy reach her ears. She looked up and blinked, not taking much to realize this boy was probably a bit older than her himself. But he had missed his train too? Just what kind of a business were they trying to run here anyway? She let out another silent huff, and kind of examined the boy at a distance for a minute. He must have been safe to talk too, right? Taking up her notebook, she flipped to a clean page and wrote within it before showing the boy.
'No, no one will give me an exact time.' she answered, this time without drawing any emotions at the end of her sentence. She didn't know who he was, but she had to be wary. New people didn't always mean good news. She soon flipped it back to her side and wrote another thing down, showing it to him again.
'I'm sure there's a customer service around here somewhere though.'
