Hey ~ I'm Leorae, and this is Li Li Mai. She's a seventeen year old teenager from China studying in Japan and is currently staying with a rich elderly couple that are her uncle's friends.

She grew up in a big family, so if anyway wants to be related to her just discuss it with me! :D She has one little sister.

Anyway, long story short, she's a stressed out academically focused high school student with pushy parents until she's whisked to the Digital world about four months back. Tragically, her partner sacrificed himself, she returned home and heard about Pandora (didn't know the details until recently)...came to Japan, and now she has a brand new partner shipped straight from wherever the Digi-Destined get their partners from. XD

Needless to say, she's not too pleased with that and the task she's supposed to take up. It's why she's an other: she doesn't care to help save the digital or human world or anything really. She just wants some peace, that's all. Not stupid Pandora, not stupid digimon. It was a bad idea to head out to Japan, except she can relax without her parents and family weighing down on her.

Friends: Li Li is a genuinely sweet, polite girl who will open up to people once she gets to know them better. However, she feels no desire to really make friends just as long as she has one (one is plenty for her). It's just hard to keep up a friendship when you have so much to do, and so little time...why bother? She's new here so is looking to make friends.

Enemies: Just because she isn't about to go fighting Pandora head on doesn't mean she doesn't dislike what they're doing. Sure, some people deserve digimon that don't get to be digi-destined and digimon love their partners, but giving them out to be used in games? For potential military conflicts? To abusers?! Ignorant, arrogant fools. People outside of Pandora who fit that criteria can be enemies as well, just as people inside of Pandora can be friends. Note that she tries very hard to maintain a polite front to anyone she meets even if they're rude to her. Now if they mess with someone else, that can be a different story...

Boyfriend?: Seventeen and no first kiss. Seventeen...and no first boyfriend. Seventeen and automatically shoves away any boy who gets too close to her. She doesn't have time for a boyfriend, or for her heart to get broken. Besides, she's waiting in the future for that special someone. But if he happens to show up now...that's cool too. I mean, secretly she's hungering for it like a starved cat. It can be pretty lonely. :>

Katsumi & Li Li - Two words: Study Buddy/tutor. He's a super-duper perfectionist that worked and studied really hard to get into good schools so he could get a good degree and get money for his brother's future. These two would likely have a contentious relationship at first - she's not into people and he would only see her as a duty, but perhaps over time they'd grow to be friends? I don't see it ever turning into romance since he needs a free spirit to balance him out, but I could see them being perfectionists together.

You have no idea what a coincidence this is: Li Li's original partner (randomly selected) was a Gomamon. Which just so happens to be Katsumi's digimon partner...heh. Certainly will make her squirm.

Anyway, she would love to have a study buddy/tutor! And friends yes, and romance...probably not. But I always just let this stuff work itself out. I could have her put up an ad looking for a tutor and then he could give her a call. For the start of the thread, it would be them meeting at...maybe the park, just to see if they will get along. She won't feel comfortable inviting him to where she's staying yet. Is that okay? Open to other options, of course!
