[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,10,true] [atrb=style,width:320px,bTable] at night i pray that soon your face will fade away being wealthy had it perks; even poor people knew that much. caius ocean was a privileged socialite whom took just about everything he received for granted. sentimental value of items were of scarf interest to him and unlike typical children his age, he owned no grasp on strife and struggle. it was needless to say his silver spoon fed him delightfully well, enough to afford him the liberty of living recklessly without restrictions and scolding, because there were no consequences for the rich. although he seemingly had in his greasy hands what many worked their lives to achieve, caius felt as though he lacked something. certain things were unfamiliar to him such as genuine relationships; and often he was plagued of reoccurring loneliness. it was as though this digimon was the answer to his desperate prayers. just as he wished upon a shooting star for a true friend, a strange digimon fell from the sky on the patio of his balcony. he’d been shocked and frightened at first, but the albino boy was much too intrigued by the creature’s existence to toss the monster away, never to think of it again. they’d been companions ever since. “I find tokyo to be monotonous; only during the nighttime air can I find true solace. Look at the full moon; it’s romantic, don’t you think, sunmon?” caius murmured pensively, sprawling his skinny limbs across a bench in the vastly uninhabited park. nighttime stretched across the sky while many tokyo citizens slept. looking up at the moon along with sunmon, he hummed peacefully. “solace? don’t see what’s so special…” the baby digimon looked around and up to the sky. with him being such a young hatchling, it was expected that he wouldn’t be as artistically cultured as caius. the white haired boy would merely grunt disapprovingly before relaxing. his body slightly tensed after hearing faint noises in the background. "Pururu..."
It was the voice of a child, albeit in reality a Fresh digimon, yet a child nonetheless. Dejected, wanting and needing love and attention, but not recieving any. Pururumon was being ignored. Li Li's red-brown eyes were focused as her headphones pumped the music loud, her mind full of fresh clarity as her fingers went through small hand motions and her feet tapped out a beat. "Five, six, seven, eight," the brunette laughingly announced, blissfully ignorant of anything happening around her. After all, it was the park, a very public park in fact, who would dare attempt to harm her?
She would set Pururumon on them and kill two birds with one stone - a digimon partner that she didn't need and a threat to all the poor girls of Japan. Her white teeth glittered under the moonlight, pink lips twisted upwards in a saucy grin as she sauntered down the pathway. Her cozy black boots with a slight heel made clicking noises as she walked, and smoothly glided across the ground. She could turn, she could leap, she could dance. And there was no one around to judge her, just a digimon in the bag she had slung around one arm and her neck.
Li Li's old instructor's voice sounded in her head as the next song slipped into the place of the first - Giselle's variation. Sorrow made her heat quicken, as the music took her back to one of her first solos - a moment that could make or break a dancer, the defining point when you may realize whether you were made for this career path or not. But then her mom's voice came crashing in, taking control of the music. "Li Li, focus on your studies. There will be no dance today, you have an important test tomorrow. Don't give me that; there will be no dance tomorrow as well if you protest." Right, she had to focus. Her grades would get her into a good college and her dancing could only take her so far. Right?
The teenager sighed, briefly glancing at Pururmon who continued to stare at her wide-eyed and on occasion made small noises, before manually switching to a rap song. Man, she wished she was better at hip-hop, but the ballet had bred her too tight and graceful for that. "Digi, digi! Warm, warm, Gongzhu. Pururu, warm!" The music was too loud and its Gongzhu didn't hear. The digimon whimpered again as it stared in fascination at the glowing digimon just ahead of the duo.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,10,true] [atrb=style,width:320px,bTable] at night i pray that soon your face will fade away caius slowly stirred out of his dreamlike state during the arrival of the initial noises resembling an overly animated baby. no doubt there was a digimon nearby even during such a late hour. the noises emitted from infront of caius and his counterpart. groaning, he squinted his eyes toward forestry shrouded in darkness. it was truly hard to see anything in the large vicinity, even with the moonlight. caius had terrible eyesight. sunmon gasped in surprise, floating in midair over into the darkness, increasingly illuminating any darkness surrounding him. with a babyish toned, he mewed into the air, “who’s there? hello?” the little burst of flames travelled deeper into the darkness until discovering a bird-like in-training digimon. caius let out an exasperated sigh before standing and following summon to protect him in case he was exposed to any lurking trouble. "Hiiiii! Hellooooo!" One moment there was a chubby pink ball of flesh sailing through the air, the next there was a bright flash of golden light mixed with black lines of data. Blinking quickly, Li Li found that her night vision was gone. Her pupils rolled frantically until they alit on the form of a round yellow digimon that could only be the former Pururumon, unmistakable underneath the newfound light. Dang it, she had gotten it to digivolve somehow. But...at least it was safe; she was afraid of having a heart-attack. There was no way in hell she'd have another innocent digimon go down when she could prevent it. Chicchimon chirped endearingly to its Gongzhu, and for a brief moment the teenage girl felt her lips turn warmly upwards, before remembering that she couldn't let this digimon be hers. He, no it, it it it, was not her partner. Just someone she was going to take care of until she could pass him-it to someone else. She ran a hand nervously down the length of her short ponytail, fitted neatly through the back of her gold snapback, and focused on the steadily approaching digimon that was the source of light and...the digimon's human partner. She began to make out features, from the strange white hair, to the stranger still intense red eyes that couldn't be compared to the red-brown of her own. An albino, not that she'd judge. What was there to judge? They were demons? Right, and she was Medusa herself. It was a guy, around her age, but whether he worked for Pandora or was a digi-destined was unknown. She was entirely unsure which option was better...heh. "Chicchimon, come here," she ordered softly, eyes not leaving the stranger's as she put away her ipod. "Yes, Gongzhu! I come at once, and most quickly, see? I am fast. I will make sure that glowly digimon and pale-ish human behave in your presence. It's just most exciting, you see Gongzhu, new friends and..." Li Li sighed loudly, rubbing her temple slowly. Guess he had found his voice. And boy, what did she do to deserve this worship? Nothing, that was for sure! She didn't want it and it was completely embarrassing. "...so, maybe if we-" "Shush it, for the love of zen." He shushed it. Maybe she could still salvage this. The brunette gave the other teenager a slow nod, smiling brightly. "Sorry about my...err, youthful digimon. He will learn to behave himself better. My name is Li Li Mai, I-" "-And my Gongzhu has yet to give me a name yet! But that's okay, because I didn't talk much when I was even littler!" Okay, could she just melt into the ground now? Because the little digimon obviously adored her so much, and he was making her sound so bad not giving her a name when he obviously wanted to give his all for her...and...and. He was nothing like her Lang, her Gomamon, but he was certainly something else.
