Katsumi had only closed his eyes for a moment. A moment! But when he'd opened them again, the train had switched tracks and he was on the other side from where he was supposed to be. He gave a small sigh. That wasn't going to make a good impression on his interview, was it? Oh, well. There wasn't much he could do about that.
He glanced around him, unsure of where exactly he was or how to get back on the line he wanted. Two years was enough to make changes in the city, changes he wasn't entirely familiar with nor really able to navigate. Changes that were more than the train he was on.
He felt the train jolt on the tracks, but adjusted his balance quickly. Things like that - sudden starts and stops, random occurrences - had happened often back on File Island. It was always an adventure, always something new. It was always good times. He sighed and lost himself in his thoughts. When the second jolt hit, he was unprepared for it.
Katsumi lost his balance, falling backward and into somebody. How awkward! He glanced up in embarrassment to apologize for his clumsiness.

The always crowded train, people shoulder to shoulder in some parts of it. Luckily he had his space. He peered around, head bobbing before reaching his hand up to his headphones for adjustments. In all actuality, music didn’t blare out of the electronic, it was only a ruse. A farce to radiate the impression of minding his own business, quite the opposite obviously, he was being nosy. Train rides where fun because of this, listening to others conversations were entertaining.
But the jerking and jolts were annoying. All worth it at some points, something will pique curiosity. Due time, he supposed. Activity will just drop in his hands soon, literally.
The jolt of the train created a toppling effect and the guy in front of him failed to understand that. No worried however, JuJu was there to save the day. Quickly his lanky body stepped behind the fallen body, stooping lightly, one arm stretching, securing the civilian torso. From the people looking, they could compare to a sequence in a dance and Jing was dipping his partner with a smile.
“Whoa~” |
His voice was soft and feint surprise. ”Gotta watch out for those bumps. You need more practice balancing. Heh. You okay?” the smirk on his grew a little more, as his looked down at the prize he caught. [/div]

[cs=3] template by pianissimo of BTN

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400px,btable][atrb=valign,top]TAGS: ▶ katsumi & jin DIGIMON: ▶ Leafmon NOTES: ▶ Just gonna stroll on in, if you don't mind
| [atrb=valign, top] Choo! Choo! The train whistled its loud horn in every direction, alerting nearby citizens that it was leaving the station. Thankfully he boarded the train early, as usual, so that he didn’t miss his ride. Plus, Dante was able to snag his favorite seat, the one that had felt extra comfortable. Clueless as to why the chair was so comfortable, he easily relaxed back in his seat and let the motion of the train drag him on throughout the day. In his lap laid his newly found partner, who at the time was sleeping like a baby. Leafmon appeared peacefully and sound asleep, just how the teacher liked him to be.
Within due time, the train would stop and he’d exit Shibuya Station, making his way over to the school where he worked. This was the usual routine for him ever since he accepted that job at the local high school. Teaching math to young adolescents had been his dream as a student in college, now that he was here, things still felt empty. As if there was something missing in life. Maybe the universe was trying to tell him that fate had a different plan for him to follow, recently after realizing that he’s chosen as a digi-destined, Dante has grown a new understanding of life. Seeking a stronger purpose, the teacher soon hopes to find another purpose in life.
“Doesn’t seem like I have much time before I arrive, wonder what everyone else is up to.” Glancing about his surrounding, the youthful male took notice of the guy coming up from behind him. The red hair was the first thing he took sight of, letting the image soak in his brain. Dante couldn’t help but laugh at the pathetic fall that displayed before him. Bump after bump, the train finally ceased after five bumps and it was smooth sailing after that. Bringing himself back together, Dante watched a stranger from behind catch the guy before he fell. A sigh of relief escaped his lips before turning his attention back up front. Sadly, he was unable to notice that Leafmon had awaken from his nap due to the bumps and he didn’t seem too happy about waking up too early from his nap. Instantly a high pitched cry erupted within the room, followed by a few tears strolling down the creature face. “Oh no Bugz, don’t cry.”
