Her father was a deadbeat who abandoned her at seven years old. She knew nothing about him except that he was the member of a yazuka-esque gang. Being the only child and having to look after her mother caused Akira to mature faster than most children, especially after her mother grew terribly ill. A little after her fourteenth birthday, Akira was informed of her mother’s death during class. The reasons for her death was related to her cancer; however, it wasn’t until receiving multiple anonymous emails she realized there was a conspiracy regarding her mother, father and an uncle she’d never met. She is now under the suspicion that her mother’s death was imposed by her uncle, a digimon taming hit-man. She joined Pandora after catching wind that her Uncle was an executive there.
